Nursery

We strive to provide an enjoyable and refreshing church environment. At Lighthouse Baptist Church we provide a nursery for children ages newborn to 3 years of age. Our nursery is well staffed by qualified and screened workers, and is kept clean and stocked with toys! As you bring your child to the nursery you will be greeted by one of our members who will take any special instructions needed and your child will only be returned to the parent who drops them off. Caring for children is of the utmost priority here at Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Children's Ministry
"Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." ~ Matthew 19:14
Children are precious in God's eyes, and to us here at Lighthouse Baptist Church. Our goal is to provide a safe and caring ministry to these precious little ones, and partner with parents, to help their children come to know and love the Lord Jesus Christ. All of our children's workers are screened for your peace of mind.
Sunday School
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." ~2 Timothy 2:15
Sunday School is an exciting time at Lighthouse Baptist Church! The classes are designed to educate and encourage the listener while elevating the Saviour and His Word! The classes are structured by age and the lessons are prepared with that in mind, to help enhance the understanding of Bible truths. Whether you're young or old, single or married, and desiring a closer walk with the Lord, the word of God has all the answers to life's challenges and problems. Join us every Sunday at 9:30 am as we study God's word and learn to walk and live by faith.
Nursing Home Ministry
"With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding." ~ Job 12:12
Each month, we are able to have church services for the residents of three different nursing homes in our area. It is a blessing to be able to visit, sing, pray and preach to these precious souls. Our goal is to point them to Jesus, the only source of lasting hope and joy. We want them to know that God hasn't forgotten about them.
Soulwinning

At Lighthouse Baptist Church we believe in carrying out the Great Commission! The primary mission of the church is to reach the lost with the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! We use many different methods and resources to accomplish this great task, but the message remains the same - Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, was buried, and rose again according to the Scriptures. "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name."
Public Ministry
"And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." ~Luke 14:23
At least once a month, we set up a tent on Highway 45 in Columbus (usually in front of McDonalds). There we give away free Bibles and New Testaments, offer prayer for those in need, and hold Scripture signs along the highway, which point the way to Jesus Christ. Feel free to stop by and visit. We would love to meet you!
World Missions
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." ~ Mark 16:15
Our mission is to obey the command of the Lord Jesus Christ to take the gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth. Every member of the church has the responsibility to be a part of world evangelism through prayer, giving, and going. Jesus Christ has commanded that we pray the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth laborers into His harvest. It is our privilege, to partner with over 50 missionaries reaching the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Van Ministry
"And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four." ~Mark 2:3
Each week, we provide door-to-door transportation for children, teens, and adults that would like to come to church and hear the life-changing truths of the word of God. Our workers are experienced and safe. If you would like a free ride, please call the church at (662) 327-1130 to arrange transportation.
